Class Policies
You must pay for the class when you register. Phone reservations are accepted with a credit card. The supply list is provided when you pay your class fee. We can mail or fax the supply list.
If we cancel a class you will receive a full refund of the class fee.
If you are unable to attend a class and give us 10 days notice, we will give you an in-store credit for your class fee.
We are unable to give any refund or store credit for classes with out-of-state visiting teachers if you should be unable to attend.
Ten days prior to the start of the class, the class is committed to go. After that time there is no refund or in-store credit for missing a class.
Out of consideration for the instructor and other students, children, spouses or visitors are not allowed at classes unless enrolled as a student.

Class Levels
| Beginner | You must know how to sew on your machine. These classes include instruction in basic roary cutting and piecing. |
| Beginner Plus | These classes assume you already have basic piecing and rotary cutting skills. They expand your skills and techniques or give you special tips. |
| Intermediate | These classes assume you are experienced in piecing and rotary skills. These classes are a little faster paced or tackle more difficult patterns. |

"In a Clutch" Bernina Event
Love Bernina? Excited about embroidery? Just want to come and play?
Here's a fun event to try out the top of the line Artista Bernina machines and embroidery units and create a fun clutch purse!
Clutch purse kits will be provided, sewing machines will be set up, all supplies will be available and Maret will walk you through the construction of this classy little zippered clutch. Plus we will have door prizes, treats and special machine pricing for those who attend!
All skill levels are invited to participate. There is no class fee for this event, but space is limited so you must be registered to attend.

If you love to appliqué and enjoy the company of other quilters this is the group for you. Marcia is an appliqué master and she hosts this club which meets once a month on Tuesday evenings. Come and sew on your own projects and share ideas wth other appliqué enthusiasts with Marcia on hand to make suggestions and assist you with your project.

Kids Can Quilt-Bolt to Bed

We will put kits together that kids can choose from – or they can choose their own fabrics to make this simple, but stylish quilt. Marcia will help them sew the blocks, sew the blocks together into the top, piece the backing and layer and pin the quilt, complete stitch in the ditch quilting and put the binding on. With some homework the quilt should be finished by the end of class. Make sure your child has a functioning sewing machine for this class, otherwise it is very frustrating for the student.

Strip Piecing for Beginners

This is a great class for those just starting out. The class will cover how to choose fabrics, proper rotary cutting techniques and practice for that perfect scant quarter inch seam allowance. If you are already a quilter, but want more practice playing with textures and color these quilts are the place to start. They are fast and easy and give you almost instant feedback on how fabrics play together.
